Daiwa Gekkabijin MX2004

月下美人 MX
Queen of the Night / Beauty under the Moon

04 - 07 We saw the first Gekkabijin. Alongside with a slew of other reels launched to specific purposes such as the Emeraldas and also the Presso. The petite bodied Gekkabijin was so compact and great it went on to the next generation Zaion bodied '09 Gekkabijin Infeet. With a whole suite of rods, lures, lines, accesories for UltraLight Rockfishing, the higher priced reel was introduced with a new little brother - the MX 2004.

2004 is Daiwa's term for shallow spool. use the 1-4lbs fluoro with a Rockfishing rod - Infeet preferred - for your rockfishing outing. Fishing out at night at the Bay for Aji, Mebaru, Lionfish, Grouper. Slow retreival and Saltwater safe is all you need from the reel itself. IF you are the owner of such reel, listen to the drag click while small fishes strips line away from your reel - no matter how small or big the fish is going to be, the smooth Ultimate Tournament Drag of this reel will stop the fish from riding back into the rocks below.

2004. How shallow you wanna go?

Use this reel here in our shores for Peacock Bass or Tarpon hunting. Your favourite paypond challenge can also give you that Ultra Light exercise. Pair it nicely with a 7 footer Finesse Ultra Light rods with the likes of MajorCraft Crostage / K.G Lights or even the entry Solpara. Infeet rods from Daiwa can be ordered as well.

light SW game. all in one.
